Hinds Building Services recognises that equal pay between men and women is a legal right under UK law as enshrined in the Equal Pay Act 1970. Under the Equality Act 2010, women and men have the right to equal pay for work of equal value, regardless of full or part-time status, casual or temporary contract or length or service.
Hinds Building Services is committed to ensuring that it maintains a systematic role analysis scheme which incorporates the principles of equal pay; carries out regular monitoring of the impact of pay policies and practices and takes appropriate remedial action to resolve issues identified; and responds promptly to any complaints in relation to equal pay.
